It got all the stats u want and that nice cold dmg for when u happen to encounter immunes, since throwshield is based on wep dmg, finding a ethereal one would be nice :) There's alot more options tho, Grandfather, Grief, Sha and Last wish all are nice swords :)

Sure, although it doesn't have CB or sockets so you'll have to compensate with other gear. It will also calculate damage based on the one hand damage of the spear which is much lower than the thrown damage. If you are going to go out of your way to make this weapon work for you then you might as well give the death spear skill that Gae Bolg grants you a try.
