I did not make a copy of the d2 file because I thought this would be a fun experience but unfortunately the game crashed yesterday as somebody was trying to help me out. Long story short, I waited for a long time for games to come back up and they never did so I would simply like to know how to delete all of the files from this so I can go back and make a copy of my D2 folder and then re-install this one. Any help would be appreciated and thx.

If you didn't make a backup of your Diablo II folder, unfortunately you'll have to reinstall to go back to normal. I hope you change your mind and stay a little longer! I promise the servers will become stable soon and you'll really enjoy Annihilus.

Sorry about the rough experience, I hope you decide to give us another try in a day or two when we are hopefully stable again, as I am sure you will not regret it.
