Diablo II turns off aero

Win7 x64, nvidia video.

When i run d2 annihilus, aero turns off. How to fix it?
Dont have this problem with vanilla d2

Check the .exe Properties under the Compatibility tab, you might have "Disable visual themes" or "Disable desktop composition" checked. One of those disables Aero. Uncheck all the stuff under the Settings in the Compatibility tab.

If that's not the case, maybe your nvidia control center is altering the .exe?
