Map player icon missing

I'm having some trouble with this and it is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. It popped up yesterday and I haven't been able to fix it.

Its in the map options, but i recall F10/11/F12 also works for hiding/showing players, give it a try :)

had this too some days ago.

i wasnt able to fix it via f10-12 nor was i able to enter the mapoptions.

what helped me was: go into the option where you can set your keybinds. Theres some map shortcuts too. Ive choosen "Pos1" as my key to show/hide names on the map. Worked like a charm.
