Is nature's peace ring working??

Yesterday, I got nature's peace ring. I knew it is required for inferno cuz of corpse explosion.
BUT, I died with corpse explosion!! What happens?

were you using a mercenary?

My bowzon is using it and with act2 merc.

Was it public game? If someone else kills and they dont have natures peace you will die!
