6.12 Patch Notes
Annihilus Legacy 6.12 Changelog:
General:
• An optional "Extreme" difficulty has been added for the Omega Weapon boss fight. This difficulty can be activated by cubing a Draconic Emblem charm with the "Heart of the Omega Weapon", and then cubing the Heart as you normally would at the end of the Crucible. Defeating Omega Weapon in Extreme difficulty will reward you with a Dark Matter, which can be cubed with a piece of equipment obtained from Omega Weapon to evolve it.
Classes:
Assassin
• Psychic Hammer now deals only magic damage. Base damage and damage per level has been drastically increased, and now has three 30% damage synergies, Cloak of Shadows, Shadow Warrior, and Mind Blast. Can now be used on left-click.
• Cloak of Shadows no longer increases your defense, but instead grants a chance to dodge attacks and spells. Now also lowers enemies' magic resistance. Now lasts a flat 10 seconds.
• Shadow Warrior and Shadow Master's base movement speed has been greatly increased. Shadow Warrior now gains its summoner's +% magic damage, magic pierce, and cast rate. Shadow Warrior now gains +4% magic + elemental resistances per level, capping at 90%. Now gains 3% physical resistance per level, capping at 75%. Life per level has been increased for both Shadow Warrior and Shadow Master. Shadow Warrior cooldown reduced to 12 frames, down from 25 frames.
• Mind Blast now deals magic damage. Mind Blast no longer stuns, knocks back, or temporarily converts enemies. Radius has been increased, base damage and damage per level has been drastically increased, and now has three 25% damage synergies, Psychic Hammer, Cloak of Shadows, and Shadow Warrior. Can now be used on left-click.
Barbarian
• Seismic Slam has been added as a new level 1 skill, replacing Bash on the skilltree.
• Concentrate has been moved to a level 12 skill, replacing Stun.
• Seismic Leap's Berserk synergy has been replaced with Seismic Slam.
• Armor Break has been added as a new level 18 skill, replacing Concentrate's spot on the skilltree.
• Whirlwind's Concentrate and Berserk synergies have been replaced with Seismic Slam and Armor Break.
Druid
• Armageddon's damage over time now properly benefits from its 25% damage synergy, up from 20%. Armageddon drops meteors over a larger radius, and drops meteors twice as often. Fire patches left on ground now lasts 3 seconds, down from 3.5 seconds.
• Spirit Wolf and Dire Wolf's base movement speed has been greatly increased. Dire wolves now gain splash damage after eating a corpse to become enraged.
Necromancer
• Teeth's Bone Prison synergy has been replaced with Bone Storm. Synergy % has been increased to 33%, up from 22%.
• Bone Armor's Bone Prison synergy has been replaced with Bone Storm. Synergy has been increased to 40, up from 22. Base absorption and absorption per level has been increased. No longer grants physical resistance.
• Bone Spear's Bone Prison synergy has been replaced with Bone Storm. Synergy % has been increased to 27%, up from 20%, but Teeth is no longer a synergy.
• Bone Prison has been replaced with a new skill, Bone Storm. Bone Storm continuously deals magic damage to nearby enemies while increasing your physical resistance and life regeneration.
• Bone Spirit's Bone Prison synergy has been replaced with Bone Storm. Synergy % has been increased to 32%, up from 24%, but Teeth is no longer a synergy.
• Revive duration is now a flat 30 minutes.
Paladin
• Zeal's damage per level has been greatly increased, especially at later levels. Attack animation has had its speed slightly increased again.
• Blessed Hammer's damage per level has been increased at later levels.
• Vengeance's damage synergy % has been increased to 18%, up from 16%. Damage per level has been increased at later levels.
• Divine Storm's damage per level has been increased at later levels.
Sorceress
• Ice Bolt's damage synergy % has been increased to 30%, up from 22%.
• Frost Nova now has a third damage synergy, Glacial Spike. Damage synergy % has been increased to 16%, up from 12%. Base damage and damage per level has been greatly increased.
• Ice Blast's Ice Bolt damage synergy has been replaced with Glacial Spike. Base damage and damage per level has been increased.
• Glacial Spike's Ice Bolt damage synergy has been replaced with Blizzard. Base damage and damage per level has been increased.
• Blizzard's damage synergy % has been increased to 17%, up from 12%, but Ice Bolt is no longer a synergy.
• Frozen Orb's damage synergy % has been increased to 20%, up from 14%, but Ice Bolt is no longer a synergy. Base damage and damage per level has been increased, especially at later levels.
Items:
• Orb of Transfiguration has been added. This allows the user to reroll a magic item and force specific affixes at the cost of 2 high runes and 2 perfect gems. The affixes are based on the gems used, and we will have more information posted on the wiki. This orb is a world drop at roughly the same drop rate as a Orb of Transmogrification, but can also be found on the Gold Vendor and in the Infernal Chest of Orbs.
• Spear of Zeus is no longer forced to spawn ethereal, and now rolls 300-400% enhanced damage, up from 250-300%.
• Etrayu now rolls 35-50% increased cold damage / cold pierce, up from 30-40%. Now grants +4 to amazon skills, up from +3. Now rolls level 30-40 Holy Freeze, up from 20-25. Now has 5 sockets, up from 3.
• Windforce no longer has cold based skills / procs. Instead, it now grants Multiple Shot the ability to trigger striking procs with every arrow. Now increases attack rating based on your character level, has a 15% chance to cast Windstorm on striking, and has a 30% chance to cast level 60 Guided Arrow on striking. Drop rate has been decreased.
• Divine Crusade's chance to cast Blessed Hammer has been lowered 20%, down from 30%. Now rolls level 15-25 Amplify Magic aura, up from 10-20.
• Rainbow Facets now have a physical version that rolls 40-80% enhanced damage, 3-5% physical pierce, 15 flat damage, and chance to cast Armor Break / Shock Wave on death / level up.
• Wisp Projector's drop rate has been slightly increased.
• Halloween charms now roll 3-6 flat damage instead of 4-8 to maximum damage.
• Infernal pearls now roll 6-12 flat damage instead of 10-15 to maximum damage.
• The Twins' Anger is no longer forced to spawn ethereal, and now also rolls 300-400 flat damage.
• Dark Matter effect has been renamed to Rift Break.
• Warped Harlequin Crest now properly receives 3 sockets, up from 2.
• Ultima Quiver now always rolls 20% Increased Dexterity, up from 10-20%.
• Proof of Omega now only drops from Omega Weapon in Extreme difficulty, but has a 100% drop rate.
• Mind Crush (unique Battle Cestus) has been added as an ilvl 87 world drop.
• Transcendence (unique Grand Charm) has been added as an ilvl 87 world drop.
• Tyrael Wings Effect Stone has been updated. The wings are now sized more appropriately for your character, and have different directions / angles for when your character is turning.
Monsters:
• Tiamat now has a 1/30 chance to drop a new unique large charm, Wing of the Dragon Queen.
• Azathoth now has as 1/50 chance to drop Condensed Insanity, up from 1/60.
• Monsters in the red portals in act 5 are now properly level 87.
• Duriel now uses Jab again instead of Zeal, and the level has been greatly decreased.
• Talic's Whirlwind level has been greatly decreased.
• All monsters that use Mind Blast have had their Mind Blast levels lowered.
• All monsters that use Pyroblast have had their Pyroblast levels lowered.
• All monsters that use Flamestrike have had their Flamestrike levels lowered.
• All monsters that use Volcano have had their Volcano levels lowered.
Areas:
• Crucible monsters that were still flying over dead zones / out of the level should no longer do so.
• Crucible Level 6 / 14's snow map has been reduced in size. Monsters in Crucible Level 6 have had their life reduced to be more consistent with other monsters of the Crucible.
• Labyrinth of Madness has had its density greatly increased.
• Worldstone Tier 5 Map has had its density increased.
Bugs:
• Fixed an issue causing monsters from the Dungeon map to sometimes be able to attack you in the Mysterious Cellar, along with some other possible map overlaps.
• Removed some extremely old "reroll" cube recipes that could mistakenly reroll certain items if they were cubed alone.
