Crafting orbs currently disabled

Crafting Orbs Currently Disabled.
This is the msg I get in red when I try to use a crafting orb. I have tried to use them on some of my rare jewels.
Obviously there is a good reason for this. Can I ask what the reason is and how long it will before the craft is enabled again.

They were part of some of the crashes that were happening. We will have them back on ASAP!

If they where part of the crashes I 100% understand why they are off.
