GM Melee Ladder

General Rules :

1) Have fun (No Rage Drama BM or Bullshit you will be Removed/Banned If there are Multiple Complaints about you)
2) To be added to the Ladder/Tournament post Annihilus account/ Character name/ Character Type.
3) Allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #5 then you must duel Everybody to get to #1.
4) You Must Pm the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in a separate topic that I will also provide.
5) GM Melee Rules Apply to all Duels.
6) Challenge will be best 3/5 in a Ft5 duel setting.
7) You may change gear ONE time during a Challenge (entire duration of Challenge)
8) Once challenge is completed, you must wait 24 hours to Issue/ accept another challenge.
9) If you lose a Challenge you must wait 48 Hours to Rechallenge the same Person.
10) 3-Day Dodge Rule (Afk, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 Consecutive "Dodges" = Removed from Ladder.


Rules:

These rules are the common rules, when challenging players you must abide by them.

1. No exiles are allowed to be used.
2. No running, walk.
3. You must say go at the same time.
4. If you miss click, the duel will still continue because it would be your own fault.
5. A Referee will be present during duration of Challenge.
6. No more than 3 players in game at a time. (Referee, Challenger and person Challenged)

PRELIMINARIES!

There will be a preliminary period to get the brackets in order. These brackets mean absolutely nothing other than placing you in your current ranks for the first Ladder. After Prelims are over with, there will not be another preliminary period.

Lets make this very clear. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MISCLICKING. If you miss click, the duel will continue to resume. A Referee may overrule this because it happens all the time and a very small percentage of players seem to do it on purpose in hopes of a re-duel when they slightly feel they are going to be killed and lose.

Referee

A Referee will be appointed to you once your Challenge has been posted in the "Challenge Topic".
The Referee will be responsible for the GM, Game/ Pass (which will be whispered to the two players in Challenge) and anything else which requires decision making in-game.

The Top Three Ranks in the GM Melee Ladder will be placed into the D2PK Hall of Fame (A Thread which will be made upon completion of first Ladder Period)

Top 5 Prizes

Rank 1: 3000 In-Game Gold (Possibly an in game Colored name which will last the duration of next ladder*)
Rank 2: 2100 In-Game Gold (Possibly an in game Colored name which will last the duration of next ladder*)
Rank 3: 1500 In-Game Gold (Possibly an in game Colored name which will last the duration of next ladder*)
Rank 4: 900 In-Game Gold
Rank 5: 600 In-Game Gold

* The decision to add this prize hasn't been decided yet. IF it were to come to life... The names would last the duration of the following ladder and will be stripped if the player fails to uphold his top 1-3 rank spot. This feature would serve as an in game "Pride" achievement to let everyone know how you rank.

Bad Manner (Code BM):

Lets be clear, MELEE is the use of a WEAPON to inflict PHYSICAL/NON-ELEMENTAL damage upon your enemy. Smite, Berserk, Whirlwind, Charged Strike, Poison Dagger, Martial Elemental Skills, Fireclaw, Lightning Zeal Sorc etc are not MELEE.

BM1. Do not commit acts of bad manner.
BM2. Do not buff.
BM3. Do not precast.
BM4. Do not use poison.
BM5. Do not use slow.
BM6. Do not enchant.
BM7. Do not smite.
BM8. Do not charge.
BM9. Do not jump.
BM10. Do not pot.
BM11. Do not run.
BM12. Do not whirlwind.
BM13. Do not knock back.
BM14. Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage. (Thorns/ Holy Shock/ Holy Fire...)
BM15. Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
BM16. Do not change gear more than once.
