My screen screws up when i set it to higher resolution

This happens when it is using incorrect files. I would consider re-installing the latest Annihilus Installer, be SURE you select Annihilus from the launcher before launching, and run D2VidTest and be sure you're using DirectDraw / Direct2D instead of Direct3D or Glide.
