Rune word advice

I see that the Wiki tells me "Any Weapon" when I want to make a rune word.
Got that.

I found an unique Ettin Axe called Rune Master or something....

Can I stick my runes in this and have both?? Is that really what "any" means?

Only works for Grey ( Socketed ) / Magic items ( yes u can make runewords in magic (blue) items! )

It says any weapon, for example:
Infinity can be made in a crystal sword on this server, normally ( regular Battle.Net ) this could only be made in polearms. Here you can make Infinity in any weapon
