    SotR Changelog: September 22nd

    Annihilus: SotR September 22nd Changelog:



    Monster Changes:


    • Resistances lowered for all non-boss monsters in all difficulties.


    • Monster Life Scaling has been changed for Nightmare and Hell. The jump from Nightmare to Hell should not be as drastic.


    • Lowered the damage of Darkness, Tonberry, Cactuar, and Dark Flan monsters.


    • Necromancer monsters in Trag'Oul's Rift forgot how to speak.




    Skill Changes:


    Misc.

    • Fixed an issue where +flat Elemental Damage skills were incorrectly receiving extra damage from +% Elemental Damage. This includes Infuse Auras / Blessings, Enchant, and Venom.


    • All Pets now gain 1% Additional Elemental / Physical Resistance per Base Point.


    • All Pets have had their Damage per Level increased at higher levels, especially Level 20+.


    • Several Skill Effects have been added to the Gold Vendor. These are "charms" similar to the existing Effect Stones that you can keep in your inventory to apply graphical changes to certain skills. The following Skills Effects are currently available: Warped Arrow (Barrage Arrow), Spike Blast (Mind Blast), Guts Throw (Shield Throw), Heaven's Storm (Tornado), Fae Hunt (Blood Hunt), Warped Spear (Bone Spear), Elemental Storm (Divine Storm), Soul Rip (Fist of the Heavens), and Disco Orb (Frozen Orb). This is "new technology" and you can simply move the Skill Effect Stones out of your inventory to disable them if you please! We will have videos to preview the Skill Effects on the wiki ASAP.



    Amazon

    • Multiple Shot Damage per Level has been increased, especially at later levels.


    • Guided Arrow Damage per Level has been increased, especially at later levels.


    • Barrage Arrow explosions now obey NextDelay, and can only hit the same target every 6 frames. Also fixed an issue preventing Barrage Arrow from hitting enemies too close to you.


    • Static Strike's base Increased Damage Taken is higher, and now increases every 4 skill levels. Weapon Damage has also been increased to 40%, and Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Lightning Fury now deals 88% Weapon Damage, up from 75%. Damage per Level at level 20+ has been increased.


    • Impale now has a chance to cause Bleeding.


    • Poison and Plague Javelin Damage has been increased at Skill Level 15+, and now deals proper damage with their poison trails.


    • Reflex has been renamed to Nimble and now also increases Attack Speed, and has switched places with Endurance on the skill tree.


    • Pierce has been renamed to Kill Shot and now also increases Critical Strike Damage.



    Assassin

    • Mind Blast no longer gains damage from Energy. Damage per Level drastically increased and mana cost lowered.


    • Smokescreen now always gives proper +% Run Speed.


    • Due to the bugfix indirectly nerfing Venom, Venom's Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Damage per Level of all Traps (Physical and Elemental) greatly increased.


    • Shuriken Flip no longer gains damage from Dexterity.


    • Tiger Strike / Fists of Fire / Claws of Thunder / Cobra Strike's Damage per Level at later levels has been increased.


    • Novas on the Charge Abilities have had their range / travel speed increased.


    • Dragon Claw's Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Dragon Strike's Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Shadow Strike's Damage per Level has later levels has been increased.



    Barbarian

    • Physical Mastery's Physical Damage per base Level has been increased.


    • War Cry Damage per Level has been increased and now deals Physical Damage instead of Magic Damage to synergize better with other skills.


    • Battle Command now gives an additional Skill Level every 5 base points instead of 10.


    • Frenzy's Damage per Level at higher levels has been increased and now also increases your Physical Damage.


    • Avalanche's Damage per Level at higher levels has been increased.


    • Earthquake's Damage per Level at higher levels has been increased.



    Druid

    • Poison Creeper's Damage per Level has been increased at Level 20+.


    • All Spirit Pets have had their Life and base Resistances increased.


    • Heart of Wolverine's +% Physical Damage has been greatly increased.


    • Spirit of Barbs now also grants Physical Resistance.


    • Grizzly now releases Shock Wave with its attacks.


    • Fire Claws' Damage per Level has been increased, especially at later levels.


    • Rabies Damage per Level has been greatly increased and now lowers all damage enemies deal, instead of just their physical damage.


    • Blood Hunt Damage per Level slightly increased.


    • All Druid Elemental Skills have had their Damage per Level drastically increased.



    Necromancer

    • Poison Weapon now deals 150% Weapon Damage, up from 125%. Damage per level greatly increased.


    • Poison Explosion Damage per Level and radius has been increased.


    • Poison Nova Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Poison Maelstrom now deals 88% Weapon Damage, up from 75%. Damage per Level increased.


    • Teeth's Damage per Level has been slightly increased and can now spawn up to 30 Missiles, up from 24.


    • Corpse Explosion Damage per Level greatly increased, and radius increased.


    • Bone Spear now deals 125% Weapon Damage, up from 100%. Damage per Level slightly increased.


    • Fixed an issue causing Spirit Link to heal for much less than intended. Base Healing also increased.


    • Obliteration now gives 2% Additional Critical Strike Damage per base point, up from 1%.


    • Soul Reaper now also adds Magic Damage to Weapon Based Attacks.


    • Clay Golem's slow has been increased to 20%.



    Paladin

    • Elemental Auras no longer grant +% Maximum Resistances.


    • Blessings are now passive, and damage of all Blessings is reduced if more than 1 Blessing is active.


    • Blessing of Cold's slow % is now equal to Infuse Cold's total skill level, not just base level.


    • Might's +% Physical Damage per Level has been increased.


    • Fist of the Heavens can no longer spawn more than 25 bolts.


    • Vengeance Damage per Level increased at higher levels.



    Sorceress

    • Most Sorceress Elementalist Skills have had their Damage per Level increased.


    • Hydras now attack faster.


    • Static Field is no longer affected by any type of mitigation or resistances.


    • Energy Shield is now castable in shapeshifts.




    Item Changes:


    • Loot tables have been reworked. You should no longer see certain bases drop MUCH more often than others, such as Bone Shields. This also means bases that were previously very rare to find should show up more often now as well.


    • Lowered the drop rate of Jewelry and Potions.


    • Fixed an issue making Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band drop far too often. It is now properly the second rarest unique ring.


    • Magic and Rare Items can now roll +Physical Skills and +Summoning Skills as a prefix. These mods can also be rolled via Warping.


    • Rift Energies can now stack up to 100 per stack.


    • You can now hold shift down while using Energies such as Fractured Rift Energy to continuously use them. Because of this, unstacking energies is now Shift and Left click.


    • Amazon Spears and Javelins can no longer warp + Additional Arrow mods.


    • Necromancer Shields now has a proper maximum of 4 sockets.


    • Mage Plate now has a proper maximum of 4 sockets.


    • Jewelry's flat Life implicit has had its values increased.


    • Ginther's Rift's Black Hole now hits 3 times a second instead of 5, and deals 33% Weapon Damage instead of 50%.


    • Soul Harvest's proc now also deals 33% Weapon Damage.


    • Rogue's Bow's Rain of Fire Arrows now also deals 25% Weapon Damage.


    • Diablo's Soul now gives the proper amount of Execution Damage, up from a set 5%.


    • Baal Shield and Haunted Effects have been added to the Gold Vendor.




    Misc. Changes / Bug Fixes:


    • Further improved the Rift spawning to help prevent invalid spawns.


    • The sprite limit has once again been removed, preventing missiles from causing things to go invisible at high amounts.


    • DEP issues have for the most part been resolved, you should no longer have to add DEP exceptions or turn off DEP to get around the c0000005 crashes on launch.


    • The launcher will now automatically take care of any missing redistributible files causing the "Cannot load D2Ex2.dll!" error.


    • Potentially fixed the issue causing a crash when mousing over your Annihilus as an Assassin.


    • Fixed an issue where certain Energies would remove Ethereal benefits.


    • Fixed an issue where sometimes stacks of Energies could show an incorrect quantity.


    • Improved the functionality of the inventory quick item movement feature (Ctrl+Left Click). Also now allows energies and particles placed in your stash using this feature to automatically combine stacks.

    Question btw:

    Sin's venom skill got a buff to work against the +% elemental damage fix.
    Whats about sorcs enchant in that regard? Seems like a bit weak now, or am i wrong?
