Annihilus Chat Upgrades!

So we've made a few upgrades to how chatting on the realm can work, to try and make it easier to communicate with a wider group of players, for trading purposes and promoting group play as well.

First off, there are 2 new commands that the annihilus chat bot can use. You will need to be added to the bot's access list to use these 2 new commands, but if you ask any senior staff member they will be able to give you access to these commands.

.infcows - Type this command, followed by a game name and/or password, and annihilus will announce to the realm that there is inferno cows going on in the game name you specified.

For example, .infcows inf1//1 will announce to the realm that there is inferno cows going on in game inf1//1

.cthulhu - Type this command, followed by a game name and/or password, and annihilus will announce to the realm that there is a cthulhu altar up in the game name that you specified.

For example, .cthulhu cthul1//1 will announce to the realm that cthulhu altar is up in game cthul1//1



We have also added both a "general" and a "trading" chat that you can receive messages from anywhere while you are logged in to the realm. You can join these chat channels from anywhere, you don't need to have access to join them, or leave them.

To join the general chat, just whisper the annihilus bot .generaladd, and add it to your friends list. You will now be able to send and receive messages from the general chat. The command to chat is .gc OR .tc depending on which chat you are wanting to use.

For general chat,
/whisper *annihilus .generaladd
/friends add annihilus
/whisper *annihilus .gc Hey guys, how's it going?

For trade chat,
/whisper *tradechat .tradeadd
/friends add tradechat
/whisper *tradechat .tc Hey guys, ive got a frostmourne for trade, iso 1 hr

This will add you to the chat list, and then whisper everyone else who is logged into the chat the message at the end.

Also, if you are in the diablo II chat channel you don't have to whisper the bot, you can just type .gc or .tc and your message.

KEEP IN MIND that you only have to do the .generaladd or .tradeadd ONCE, and if you want to stop receiving messages you can simply remove the bot from your friends list, and add it again if you'd like to receive messages again.
