Windows 10 detects annihilus as malware rundus/plock

whats the deal with this.....

Is it bull or is it some shady stuff....

It happens to me about every week or so. It's nothing serious, you can actually add an exception to your windows defender to stop bugging you about it. One thing that happens is it actually deletes the desktop shortcut too. When that happens, just run the AnnihilusUpdater again and it will make a new one.

It seems Windows Defender (along with some other anti viruses) has started picking up our Annihilus Launcher as a false positive, the reason for this is because the launcher automatically downloads updates to keep your game up to date. I suppose it thinks anything that does automatic downloads can be dangerous. It is definitely safe though, and I ensure you it downloads nothing but future patch updates :)
