Can't target corpses when using find item

I noticed this last night playing on my barb. I've been using find item on PL and flesh golems in inferno portals. Late last night I noticed that I can't target corpses anymore. The mobs that I used to be able to target is now untargetable. It just sort of randomly started happening. It's not a matter of the corpse being used because I play solo. I have no idea what's going on.

I'm feeling a bit foolish after reading this. I've never been able to use find item in inferno portals and I'm wondering if this is why. I don't recall having monsters rest in peace on my barb but perhaps I did.
