New dudu, what do?

Fairly new to Annihilus and Diablo 2 in general, currently rolling around in Aldur's doing MF runs and Hell Cows for HR's and stuff. What should I be upgrading my gear towards? I tried to do Lich King, got through Eastern Plaguelands with no problems but I always end up having LK at 1/3 health and then he just never dies at that point. I'm at 392 Magic Find. And also, how should I be gearing my defensive aura merc? I have shit gear on him xd.
