A simple warning to any new players about Ladder

So apparently yes, Ladder characters ARE deleted after season is over. Most diablo 2 players would figure like the original game, you'd just get swapped to non-ladder, so maybe a warning to any new players who are playing in Ladder would be nice.

Nah ur wrong, it was only this ladder, it was needed in order to make some changes for the server :)
It was also mentioned before somwhere in announcements.

So if I were to make a character on ladder, he is 100% safe from being deleted?

I wouldn't say 100%, More like 93%. :) It was a pretty rare occasion, I don't think we'll need to do it again. If we do it won't be anytime soon unless something dramatic changes. I won't guarantee it either way as I cannot predict the future, this time was just needed so we could change certain things that would otherwise corrupt existing characters as they were pretty huge stat changes.
