infernal chest help

so are there other bonus's to opening this chest elsewhere. I have read somewhere that if you open it at the alter, which i dont know where the alter is. I cannot remember where i read this and have not been able to find the article since.

u can open infernal chest only with infernal key (75 gold, Hadriel), but I dont reccomend to spend money on it cos the chance of any useful item is very rare (around 5% of chaches contain something good).
altar is for blue caches (chache of rlyeh).
