Also as requested, here are the GM rules for LLD'ing (keep in mind that they vary from West/East).

General rules:

10. hacks/massive intentional bug abuse/rage/flame/spam/nk.
11. no excessive defensive play (repl life, regen mana abuse).
12. no jumping (everyone says go before duel starts).
13. no precast (casting and going back to stash, cube in inventory is allowed).
14. no usage of any pots/slowing items/knockback items/life tab wands.
15. no more replenish life than 22.
16. no more than 75 max res.

Necro:

19. clay golem, decrepify, iron maiden, bone wall and bone prison are banned.
20. recasting bone armor is not allowed.
21. max 85 fire res allowed vs fb/fw/fissure.

Paladin:

22. prayer is banned as synergy and as active aura.
23. cleansing is banned as active aura.
24. libbies/fohs may not use any dr vs melees.

Ama:

24. bowas may not use more than 120 frw.
25. javas may not use more than 150 frw.
26. slower missiles is banned.
27. kb is banned vs melees.
28. max 85 fire res vs fb/fw.

Sorc:

29. stay on screen while duelling melees. no defwhoring.
30. es sorcs may not use insight, non es sorcs may use insight.

Druid:

31. tele staffs are allowed.
32. melee druids may not use more than 150 frw.
33. recasting cycloon armor is not allowed.
34. ele druids may use 30 repl life vs es sorcs.
35. max 85 fire res allowed vs fb/fw/fissure.

Barb:

36. ww lock is banned
37. max 85 fire res allowed vs fb/fw.

5 walls was to prevent spamming in game. but I removed it (now its completely banned) because bone wall hp scales with difficulty, so theyre very tanky in hell. lld is supposed to be played in normal, so in regular settings they would die in any 1 hit. but ind2pk theyre nearly unkillable.

theres also no sorb items in lld. magical dmg is extremely reduced given the correct gears and max res, so allowing max resist essentially kills all mages.

the no dr vs melee rule was to give a chance to melee when playing as a hdin, which makes the matchup virtually unwinnable for the melee players.

rules come from the jsp lld'ing community, which have been around since... 2006?

+max res has ALWAYS been banned, no exception
OK 150 fhr cap is what I saw then? which is also still not even a breakpoint
dual spirits kinda makes sense, doesn't really specify integer or %
either way, if youre using dual spirit on din, its a fail build and you should feel bad

I saw 2 frw caps then, reporting to it to the department of redundancy department D:<
120/150? doesnt make sense. My zon is both bowa and java. As every d2pk zon pretty much, so 150.

yes I know lld sorb doesnt exist minus integer spirit, just saying allowing +max res on any, you might as well create sorb lld items.

d2jsp rules are NOT for d2pk. those are poor mans accommodation, we have access to high stats here

I agree with this statement. However for now we don't have many viable items to make competitive builds other than bowzon/sorc.

I think with time we will come to forge our own GM list as we get more builds. But surely, d2jsp is a great place to start (for like the prayer limitation / slow % / no insight on ES sorcs).
