Exception processing error:: PLEASE HELP

I'm getting an exception processing error. I've tried to add the Annihilus launcher to my DEP exceptions list, but each time i do windows tells me that "this program must have DEP turned on"

You just need to add Diablo II.exe and Game.exe to exception list, not the launcher, try that!

I've already done that. Still getting the error. My Diablo 2 complete edition still works fine, though not when launched through your application. In order for my D2 to start, it has to be in compatibility mode however.

I also will get the UNHANDLED ACCESS VIOLATION error along with this error sometimes.
And if i try to play the BATTLE.NET inside of the d2 application alone i will always get that error when the gateway is set to annihilus.
My CDKEY is also incorrect.
Though the application works just find in single player.

Wow being completely honest, I've literally never seen that error. It does seem like something is not installed correctly. I know its a lot of work, but I would do a fresh Annihilus install into a fresh Diablo II folder. Also remember you cannot install this into a 1.14 version of Diablo II, it must be 1.13d or lower!

I used a different file image and reinstalled the game files. Also reinstalled the launcher, received a ACCESS VIOLATION error. Followed the common errors thread and resolved the issue:

1. Added DEP exceptions for SOURCE files.
2. Selected files Diablo.exe, GAME.exe and the launcher to be run as admin by default.
3. Ran the launcher and succeeded.

Awesome, glad to hear its working! Ah, unfortunately a lot of our content does not work in single player, the vast majority of updates were made on serverside so if you do not play on the server you'd be missing out on a lot of features. I can imagine players 8 doesn't work properly either, but most of the changes players 8 makes are already active in the game, for example monster HP.

i'm enjoying the changes to overall difficulty. Though what is confusing me is that i'm selling items and not receiving gold. Gonna hit the forums and see what i can figure out. Soloing is gonna be difficult without being able to purchase from vendors.
