As stated by the two before me, its actually items that makes the skills Exploding / Freezing Arrow shoot additional missiles. There is also an Enchantment for this.

getting one shot by a zon with like 3k life and 75% dodge, from 2 screens away by massive aoe unblockable splash damage 4 times a second is a thing
if they have enigma they just stomp you and hit you with like 14 arrows (ow)

buff teeth imo
teeth should do like 12k magic dmg to keep up. i dont want to have to aim tbh
