connecting problem

After update ,I can't load more than 1 char.When trying to login a second char, it says " checking versions" and it lasts for ever.
How should I fix this?

check ctr+alt+del, see how many d2 clients are running, if u see multiple; close them, and try again :)

I see 2 d2clients :first1 connects fine,the second1 doesn't connect to server.Looks like there is some kind of ip restriction because on other servers I can connect multiple times.

That's really weird, someone else had this issue 2 days ago and rebooted and he was fine after that.

Nobody can help me ? I've reinstalled the game,reinstalled even windows 'but I'm still having this issue:I can log only 1 char to realm and that's really frustrating 'ços I can't even mule without losing items :(
Nobody knows what's happening or nobody cares?

I mean I definitely care man, I am just out of ideas. Try using a free VPN program just to see if it lets you have more than 1, that alone will give us a lot of information.

I ussed PUTTY and for the 2nd connection i got this message :"server unexpectedly closed network connection"
