question about short circuit and divinity

Both item transform a damage type into physical. I assume as those skills are spells, they use FCR.
But will they use deadly strike and crushing blow? ( i don't think they do, it would be too powerfull)

Nope, they work like Tornado for example. It's still a spell, so it will not apply effects that are triggered by weapon attacks. So to sum it up, it will not trigger deadly / crushing / ctc items.
