A Modest proposal

To put it simply, I'm considering of making a mule character and a continuous game where players can come and drop all less than perfect gems and any runes they don't need and want but find. The purpose here isn't just to set up some place for anyone to pick up any low level runes they need but to try and craft as many runes as possible to make high level runes. If we pool our resources on this, we could perhaps get these runes quicker. Just a thought.

its probably faster, to make 8 player hell cowruns and collect the highrunes that drop there.

But if you cant do so yet, you would need alot of ppl for 1 hr. And also be aware that the games only last for about 3 hours. So your session will be closed after 3 hours, no matter if youre active doing things or not.
