Hi :)
I'm going to post here my Murder of crows Dudu build. It's very suitable for cows, inferno cows, swampy boss and a lot more of places/bosses. PVP - too.
Gear:
- Cow queen set
- Full Cthulhu caster set
* I've added 5 x ist runes into the weapon because of the cow queen shako and its vitality bonus (+ 150% mf is a good bonus indeed)
- Trang oul gloves
- Scourgelord girdle
SKills:
- Murder of crows - max
- Raven - max
- Oak sage - max
- 30 skill points left - I don't know
The result is:
- 6k hp
- 1k mana
- ~115 of each resistance (not much but still better than 0 :D)
- 8.6k-14k damage with murder of crows with 61-65 life stolen per hit
- 13 ravens (I'm using torch + annix too): 1200-1420 damage + 26% CB
- 235% FCR
- 145% FHR
- more than 500% mf
I'm using act 1 merc with ondal's helm due it's chance to cast amplify damage.
Any ideas to make it better?

Your act 1 merc is pretty useless, because the ravens overwrite it with their blinding curse...
You can use puryfing gloves for +1 all skills on glove
You can use the rest skillpoints for either the grizzly or wolf summons. Use them as tanks :)

One question here. the shaa sword on an act 3 merc reduces the physical resistance of mobs around by 20%. Is this also with 1/5 penatly and only uses -4% on physical immune mobs? Would be useless too then... If not, try this sword :)
Also one more question Game :
Ravens are considered pets, so they dont benefit from characters -x% enemy physical resist, or? They are not affected by auras (like fanacitism), or am i wrong?

Honestly I never seen an Aura affect a Raven, but I just checked the coding and the code that prevents certain monsters from being affected by Auras are not turned on for the Raven monster. I still don't think they are affected by Fanaticism, but I would test it to be sure. I never bothered to test. They will not receive the -physical resist though.

Ok ty :) whats about the sssshaa sword aura? Is it penaltied? Crow druids have a huge problem with physical immunitys :(
Their ravens overwrite any curse with their blinding, the ssshaa aura is only -4% and new -% enemy resis dont count for them aswell :'D

Now I have act 5 merc with ssshhaa max + ondal's helm
There are no more immunes :D

you should use act 3 instead of a5 for some reason: a5 cant wear shield, a3 can wear shaa + malevolent ( or anything else)
a5 is a close combat and can die more easily than a3.
a3 cold can freeze, a5 have no aura or snares.

A5 can heal himself with life stolen per hit. What about a3? I can't give him potions

A3 light can do static as well, Act 5 merc wil cast a very low shout.
Id go with A3 aswell :)
A3 merc will keep distance so he doesnt rly need potions, and if he dies, just revive him :)
Oh and if u use CTRL+Drink potion, ur merc will drink it, thats the short way, another possibility is dragging a potion onto ur merc portrait and drop it there. :)

Comparing mercs sure an a3 merc is much better and he's more viable than a5, get him focus, sanctuary's balance, shaa , bulwerk will be fine I guess.
Edit: thanks a lot for sharing your guide looks interesting and fun!

Guardian armor (runeword) (http://annihilus.net/wiki_index.php?title=Guardian-armor)
best merc armor in my opinion.
Just if you want to improve your merc for some reason :)

btw, how does the mass regeneration aura work? This armor seems pretty good for melee merc but this is not a case (a3)

sshaa sword is the offensive way ( you make more damages) the defensive way would be frostmourne ( frost aura slow ennemies).
