We don't want it too easy, if they add mobs then people will want shrines+missiles etc- Missiles would dent the PvP tactics, especially in tournament play. I find the map border and pathway is more than enough!
As for full mercy, have you found any high tier items? Their survivability is already quite impressive before obtaining a CTA, full gear would make pvm too easy, especially with a full torch/Anni geared char

full merc.. it would be too easy to play... So if there would be such feature it would be nice to reduce merc power like in Diablo 3, they got a lot less dps there
I think showing monsters on the map is a cool idea. Helps HC players avoid certain mobs, and makes MFing a little less tedious when you can pinpoint elite mobs.
I agree with monster on map :) Would be nice if it could be added, but no need shrines and projectiles added!
