Newbee Questions (Bowazon/Javazon, misc.)

Hi just started playing Legacy,
was rough to start, so far i'm playing a +50lvl Poison JavZon

Question 1:
Does weapon dmg apply to Multishot?
- or has it got fixed dmg depending on skill lvl
should i use any bow and just collect +skill gear for dmg scaling?

What are A2 Merc Auras, are they like Classic LoD?
Does A5 merc have an aura? or any other mercs?
