There really isn't anything you can do other than adding more RAM. Both Windows and OSX do this and it's only very recently with Windows 10 now that they made it so you can visually see it through task manager.

Try uninstalling the Security update. Worked for me. That update seems to be causing RAM usage problems for a lot of people.
Can't remember the exact name of the update, but i only had one security update.
Or use google..

well i got 8 gigs of ram so im not worried about it using the ram what im worried about is the 100% disk usage for no reason
