    6.8 Patch Notes

    Annihilus Legacy 6.8 Changelog:


    General:

    • Quantity of items dropped is no longer increased by player count, and the default value has been drastically increased. This will cause many more items to drop in general, which means more chances for rare drops such as Forbidden Charms and Mysterious Watch.


    • Magic Find is more effective for finding Uniques and Sets, and their base chance to drop in general has been slightly increased across the board.


    • Items at vendors no longer cost Gold. (Except for the usual Gold Vendor)


    • Slow has been removed from all sources.


    • Nephalem Trials has been replaced with the previous Mark system. Marks for specific bosses (I.E. Mark of Sin for Azmodan) can drop anywhere in Hell (similar to Mysterious Watch), and can be cubed in the Nephalem Trials level to open a permanent portal to that specific boss. Mark bosses will always drop 1 of their exclusive items.



    Classes:

    Amazon

    • Lightning Fury Damage Synergies has been increased.


    • Lightning Arc Damage Synergies and Damage per Level has been increased. Skill functionality has also been polished so it is a bit more reliable.



    Assassin

    • Burst of Speed, Fade, Venom, and Blade Shield now has a set duration of 5 minutes.



    Barbarian

    • Shout, Battle Orders, and Battle Command now has a set duration of 2 1/2 minutes.



    Druid

    • Tornado now hits up to 6 times per second, up from 3.


    • Twister now hits up to 6 times per second, up from 3.


    • Hurricane's Damage Synergies has been increased and now hits up to 3 times per second, up from 2.



    Necromancer

    • Clay Golem no longer slows, but has increased chance of Crushing Blow.


    • Bone Spear's hitbox has been slightly decreased.


    • Bone Spirit now functions like it does in the upcoming SotR update. It will now travel to the specified location, damaging everyone in its path, or can be targeted onto a specific enemy to haunt them and continuously pierce them. Damage Synergies and Damage per Level at later levels has also been increased.


    • Bone Armor no longer incorrectly reflects damage without the unique item "Forsaken" equipped. This also applies to the Blood Knights in Act 4's Time Rift.



    Paladin

    • Damage Synergies for Holy Fire, Holy Freeze, and Holy Shock has been increased.


    • Holy Shield now has a set duration of 5 minutes.



    Sorceress

    • Enchant's Fire damage added to attacks no longer double dips from +% Extra Fire Skill Damage. Increased Elemental Damage % per Level has been decreased, but inital amount has been slightly increased. Now has a set duration of 2 1/2 minutes.


    • All skills have had their damage synergies increased by 2% to offset the Enchant change.


    • Cold Mastery no longer grants +% Cold Damage. To help offset this, Damage per Level of all Cold skills has been increased at higher levels.


    • Frozen Armor, Shiver Armor, Chilling Armor, Energy Shield, and Thunder Storm now has a set duration of 5 minutes.



    Items:

    • Frostmourne's Summon Sindragosa has been slightly reworked. This was not working as intended by any means, and the visuals did not match the skill. Sindragosa will now properly leave a trail of cold on the ground that continuously hits enemies and the aoe has been increased, however the overall damage per tick has been lowered.


    • Flame Horizon's Damage has been decreased and spawns slightly less missiles per cast.


    • Corrupted Lightsabre has been renamed to Warped Lightsabre and no longer has the Corrupted stat on it. Negative stats have been removed or can now roll positive values as well.


    • Corrupted Stormshield has been renamed to Warped Stormshield and no longer has the Corrupted stat on it. Negative stats have been removed or can now roll positive values as well.


    • Corrupted Harlequin Crest has been renamed to Warped Harlequin Crest and no longer has the Corrupted stat on it. Negative stats have been removed or can now roll positive values as well.


    • Dragon's Tempest now spawns 1-3 Additional Dragons on Dragon Strike, down from 2-4. Now has a 30% Chance to Cast Chain Lightning on Striking, down from 75%.


    • Sur Rune now grants -5% piercing to all resistances instead of Slow when socketed in a weapon.


    • Book of Abyss drop rate has been increased to 1/66, up from 1/101.


    • Infernal Chest of Maps now only requires 1 High Rune to unlock.


    • Infernal Chest of Champions is now rarer than the other Infernal Chests and requires 3 High Runes to unlock. Will contain a random Mark.


    • Annihilus's Time Leap damage has been reduced by roughly 50%.


    • Frostmourne drop rate has been slightly increased.


    • El'druin drop rate has been slightly increased.


    • Flame Horizon drop rate has been slightly increased.


    • FF8 Skull drop rate (from the Bosses, not Worldstone Map) has been slightly increased.


    • Dreamlands Set Item drop rate has been increased.


    • Divine Gem drop rate has been increased.


    • Most newer world drop uniques have a slightly increased drop rate.


    • Holy Judgment now has a chance to cast Worldstone Barrage on Striking instead of the broken Sacrifice mechanic.


    • Excalibur flat + Damage has been increased, Chance to Cast Omega Sigil has been increased, Omega Sigil activates twice as fast, and Omega Sigil's damage has been increased.


    • Twin Excalibur flat + Damage has been increased, Full Set bonus has been buffed, and Megiddo Flame's hitbox and damage has been increased.


    • Judgment of Time's Hammer of Wrath attacks twice as fast and has had its damage drastically increased. Chance to cast has been lowered to 35%.


    • Judgment of Time's Chaos Ring now hits twice as often.


    • Ripped Page has had its inventory size decreased.



    Monsters:

    • Bosses with regeneration now heal less frequently, depending on the difficulty of the boss.


    • Ctoggha now only spawns once.


    • Ifrit and Limit Break Squall's AI range has been increased.


    • Ultima Weapon's Regeneration has been reduced by roughly 40%. Worldstone Barrage damage lowered by roughly 75%, Ultima Storm damage lowered by roughly 10%.


    • Endgame Boss loot tables (such as Dreamlands and FF8 bosses) will no longer attempt to drop only unique rarity. Magic Find will help a lot!


    • Act 4 Time Rift Bosses now have a higher chance to drop Set Items compared to other rarity types.



    Areas:
