4.1 Patch Notes

   Annihilus 4.1 Changelog:
   General Changes:
   • Halloween is near! For the month of October you will notice the members of the towns have decided to dress up for the occasion. You can also find Trick or Treat Bags from anywhere in the game, cube them to open them up and see whether you got a trick or a treat! There is a specific item much rarer than the others.

   • A new endgame zone has been added! The mysterious Time Rift will occasionally show up in the River of Flame. The zone will contain 2 mini-bosses and 1 boss. Each mini-boss has a chance to drop 2 exclusive items each, and the boss has a chance to drop 3 exclusives. (EDIT: We are getting reports of clients crashing when going through the rift in 800x600 resolution, please use 1024x768 for the time being until we figure out the cause. Sorry!) EDIT 2: This has been fixed! Be sure to re-update if your launcher doesn't find it automatically.

   • Skill effects have been added! You will find them at the Gold Vendor. We only added 4 for now, but more will come in the future! The only downside to Skill Effects, is if you have an item that gives +skills SPECIFICALLY to the original skill (For example, +3 Tornado on Annihilus charm) it will not benefit from that, but it will benefit from anything else; including + to Druid Skills or + to Elemental skill tree. The damage difference should be minimal at best.

   • Fixed an issue causing several areas to crash the client if you are using 800x600 resolution. (Omega Andariel, Tyrael, etc).

   • Inferno Summoners will no longer benefit from Multishot.

   • Mana Burn has been disabled, and will no longer roll on superuniques. Very few abilities will still eat mana though, such as Belial's Mana Bomb.

   • Updated several different language clients to have proper item / skill strings.

   Class Changes:
   Assassin
   • The Martial Arts tree has had all skill synergies increased by 2-4%. I highly recommend giving this skilltree a chance!

   • All Claw Mastery benefits have been increased.

   • Wake of Inferno synergies lowered by 1%.

   Druid
   • Shapeshifting forms have received visual updates! Both forms no longer scale just from weapon speed, and will benefit from IAS from any item slot.

   • Fury now attacks 20% faster.

   • Bear Form attack speed is a little slower now due to the IAS change, so to make up for it both Maul and Shockwave have had their Damage / Synergies buffed. Bears are more about slower but higher damage, and Wolves are about speed.

   • You may now cast Battle Orders / Battle Command / Shout in Shapeshifting form.

   • Blaze will no longer remove you from Shapeshifting form.

   • Tornado now hits every 4 frames, instead of every 2.

   • Spirit Wolves and Dire Wolves now only benefit from base points put into Grizzly, capping their OW / DS at 20%.

   • Summon damage gained from Grizzly lowered by 3%.

   Necromancer
   • The Summoning skill tree has been completely revamped!

   • Skeletons have had their base stats drastically raised, and now gain additional effects from Skeletal Power.

   • Skeleton Warriors now have much higher threat than other targets, and will be prioritized by enemies.

   • Skeleton Mastery has been drastically buffed for Skeletons.

   • Skeletal Mage has been replaced by Skeletal Archer.

   • Summon Resist and Golem Mastery have been merged.

   • Necromancers now have a Skeletal Lich Form, granting them a ranged AoE attack (Skeletal Burst) and Skeletal Power to further boost Skeletons. The Skeletons must be raised while in Lich Form to gain the benefits! Skeletal Burst benefits from weapon damage, and will proc all CTCs and OW / DS / CB. Lich Form is very powerful yet fragile, their FHR breakpoints are non existent.

   Sorceress
   • All Fire Skills have had their Damage Synergies increased by 2-6%.

   • Pyroblast now breaks into 8 bolts instead of 4, covering much more ground. Mana cost has also been lowered.

   • Lightning's Charged Bolt Synergy has been replaced by Thunder Storm.

   Item Changes:
   • Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker has been buffed. If you already own this item, you may cube it for a one-time free re-roll. Any items in the sockets will be saved, enchantments will not.

   • Corrupted Lightsabre has been buffed. If you already own this item, you may cube it for a one-time free re-roll. Any items in the sockets will be saved, enchantments will not.

   • Full Trag'Oul Set now grants +10 Skeletal Power instead of Vampire form to prevent conflicts with Skeletal Lich form.

   • Hysteria no longer cast Mark of the Twins, and will once again cast Bloodlust. This will only affect newly found pairs.

   • Cache of R'lyeh will no longer drop from Azathoth in The Crucible.
