Act Bosses

Act 1

Andariel

Andariel.png

  • Andariel can be found in the Catacombs Level 4.
  • When enemies near Andariel die, they release a poison nova.
  • Andariel herself deals massive amounts of poison damage. Make sure to come prepared and do not stand in her poison clouds.
  • Andariel spawns Ghouls that deal a great amount of poison damage. When all the Ghouls are dead, Andariel will summon a new pack of them.
  • In nightmare, Andariel drops a Greater Soul

Act 2

Duriel

Duriel.png

  • Duriel can be found in one of the Tal Rasha's Tombs located in the Canyon of the Magi.
  • Duriel will periodically cast Seismic Slam while you are at a distance and will also cast Avalanche no matter the distance.
  • Duriel summons maggots in different colors. The red ones give him life regeneration.
  • Duriel has a "dodge phase" where he gets stunned but casts many physical fissures across the arena called "Everlasting Pain". These will be telegraphed by an orange circle (like Meteor). During this phase, Duriel takes 50% increased damage from all sources. You'll want some kind of dodge/block or an okay amount of physical resistance to be able to at least take one or two hits in case you can't dodge all of the fissures. You can craft Physical resistance on your potions and use as a panic button.
  • In hell, Duriel drops a Greater Soul

Act 3

Mephisto

  • Mephisto be found in Durance of Hate Level 3.
  • Mephisto will periodically cast Absolute Zero which has a telegraphed circle (in blue). Mephisto will also at times teleport you to him, while having swirling lightning around himself. You want to make sure to have lots of lightning resistance and maybe even "Shock Immunity" on one of your potions. Saving your Speed Potion for this skill is ideal as you can just run out of it as he teleports you.
  • In normal, Mephisto drops a Greater Soul

Act 4

Diablo

  • Diablo can be found in The Chaos Sanctuary. He can be spawned by activating all 5 seals and killing the unique monsters they spawn.
  • Two seals can be located to on both the left and right hand side of the Sanctuary while the last one is at the very top.
  • Diablo will periodically cast Armageddon, shooting a line of meteors towards you. Make sure to dodge this attack as it can one shot you. Diablo also casts Firestorm, Fire Circle, Bone Prison and Lightning Breath.
  • In hell, Diablo drops a Greater Soul

Act 5

Baal

Baal.png

  • Baal can be found in The Throne of Destruction located in Worldstone Keep level 3. You can access his arena by clearing all 5 waves of monsters.
  • Baal will periodically drop big crystals from the ceiling (indicated with a circle on the ground), when it hits the ground it explodes dealing massive amounts of physical damage. On top of that, this skill also shoots out a bunch of barrages of crystals towards the players direction. Baal at times also use a skill where he teleports around, shooting magic projectiles at the player. You cannot deal damage to Baal in this phase, so try dodging as if your life depended on it. (Well, it kinda does)
  • In hell, Baal drops a Greater Soul

Rift Bosses

Trag'Oul

  • Trag'Oul can be found in the Realm of Trag'Oul located in the Cathedral of act 1.
  • Trag'Oul will periodically cast Armageddon, shooting a line of meteors towards you. Make sure to dodge this attack as it can one shot you. He will also periodically cast Flamestrike on your position. Trag'Oul also uses Poison Maelstrom which deals poison damage.
  • Trag'Oul drops a lesser soul [1]
  • Trag'Oul can drop three special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Sanctuary's Balance Warmonger and Trag-Oul's True Guise
  • Trag'Oul drops the Eternity Runeword Pattern

Ctoggha

Ctoggha.gif

  • Ctoggha can be found in the Labyrinth of Madness located in the Palace Cellar found in Act 2 town behind Jehryn.
  • Ctoggha will cast Psionic Storm if you are to far away from him. He also casts Quill Storm at a range which deals physical damage. Ctoggha also has a magic damage dealing "footprint" (like Blaze), this deals damage very quickly but the hits themselves are not very scary.
  • Ctoggha drops a lesser soul [2]
  • Ctoggha can drop three special unqiues. Those unqies are as follows: R'luh Shagg, Hupadgh N'gha and Syha'h Throd
  • Ctoggha drops the Malevolent Runeword Pattern

Squall

  • Squall can be found in Edea's Orphanage located in the Disused Reliquary found to the left of the Kurast Causeway in act 3.
  • Squall will Limit Break and transform after defeating his first form.
  • Squall drops a lesser soul. [3]
  • Squall can drop two special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Squall's Necklace and Lion Heart

Griever

Griever.gif

  • can be found in Edea's Orphanage located in the Disused Reliquary found to the left of the Kurast Causeway in act 3.
  • Griever does very high lightning damage.
  • Griever drops a lesser soul. [4]
  • Griever can drop two special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Signet of the Griever and Great Attractor
  • Griever drops the Infinity Runeword Pattern

Ifrit

  • Can be found in the Tomb of Guardians located in the Ruined Fane found to the right of the Kurast Causeway in act 3.
  • Uses Armageddon (row of meteors), do not stand in this as it'll most likely kill you. Ifrits skills deal fire damage.
  • Ifrit does NOT drop a soul.
  • Ifrit can drop two special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Mad Rush and Hell Fire

Diablos

  • Can be found in the Tomb of Guardians located in the Ruined Fane found to the right of the Kurast Causeway in act 3.
  • Diablos does NOT drop a soul.
  • Diablos can drop two special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Dark Messenger and Gravija

Bahamut

  • Can be found in the Tomb of Guardians located in the Ruined Fane found to the right of the Kurast Causeway in act 3.
  • Bahamut will be summoned after reducing the HP on his portal to 0 hp (it will regen fast and sometimes take no damage)
  • Bahamut has high resists, High damage reduction and high HP.
  • Bahamut will use Mega Flare, signaled by a sound. This move does magic damage in small amounts very rapidly. Standing in the Mega Flare is not advised.
  • Bahamut drops a lesser soul. [5]
  • Bahamut can drop two special uniques. Those uniques are as follows: Guardian Force and Tera Flare
  • Bahamut drops the Guardian Runeword Pattern

Riftstones

Tier 1 Riftstones

Crazed Archer

  • Crazed Archer can be found in the Catacombs Riftstone.
  • Crazed Archer uses Rain of Arrows which deals heavy fire damage but is easy to dodge.
  • In hell, Crazed Archer drops a lesser soul [6]

Vengeful Blacksmith

  • Vengeful Blacksmith can be found in the Sewer Riftstone.
  • Vengeful Blacksmith throws guts at you at range. He deals physical damage.
  • In hell, Vengeful blacksmith drops a lesser soul [7]

Tier 2 Riftstones

Legacy's Legend

  • Legacy's Legend can be found in the Cave Riftstone.
  • Legacy's Legend casts Fire Balls and also has a swirling Fire Wall that he casts frequently around himself.
  • In hell, Legacy's Legend drops a lesser soul [8]

Mechanized Destroyer

  • Mechanized Destroyer can be found in the Crypt Riftstone.
  • Mechanized Destroyer uses Armor Break and deals heavy physical damage.
  • In hell, Mechanized destroyer drops a lesser soul [9]

Tier 3 Riftstones

Fallen Angel

  • Fallen Angel can be found in the Durance of Hate Riftstone.
  • Fallen Angel uses Orb of Winter and can teleport.
  • In hell, Fallen Angel drops a lesser soul [10]

Deathspeaker

  • Deathspeaker can be found in the Tomb Riftstone.
  • Deathspeaker uses Poison Maelstrom and Bone Spirit.
  • In hell, Deathspeaker drops a lesser soul [11]

Tier 4 Riftstones

Swamp King

  • Swamp King can be found in the Maggot Lair Riftstone.
  • Swamp King (skills)
  • In hell, Swamp King drops a lesser soul [12]

Guts

  • Guts can be found in the Dungeon Riftstone.
  • Guts has a blood whirlwind which deals heavy amounts of physical damage rapidly. On top of that, he also has a teleport ability.
  • In hell, Guts drops a lesser soul [13]
  • Guts drops the War Runeword Pattern

Tier 5 Riftstones

Nemesis

  • Nemesis can be found in the Temple Riftstone.
  • Nemesis (skills)
  • In hell, Nemesis drops a lesser soul [14]

Guardian of Terra

  • Guardian of Terra can be found in the Worldstone Riftstone.
  • Guardian of Terra (skills)
  • In hell, Guardian of Terra drops a lesser soul [15]
  • Guardian of Terra drops the Focus Runeword Pattern

? Queen

Tier 6 Riftstones

  • Tier 6 Greater Riftstones are very rare drops and can drop in all Tier rifts, however they are more common in Tier 5 maps than lower ones. Tier 6 rifts are boss fights in an arena and the bosses are guaranteed to drop at least one unique from their pool.
