Let the fun begin

If you have conflicting ideas with these rules - feel free to post them here or PM me and we can discuss changes. These have been fashioned out of years of SvS experience and to provide the most balanced and fun duels.

*Account/Char Name/Type

General Rules

• Both players must say go

• The duels end when the entire other player dies.

• Talking shit is allowed (adds competition)

• Towning at any moment results in your forfeit of that round (unless blatant mistake and not avoiding damage)

• Dueling format is ft3 unless otherwise specified by specified (ft5 max)

Specific Rules

• Duels take place in the blood moor

• No thawing/antidote pots

• No rejuvs/hp pots

• Mana pools are not allowed unless agreed on by both teams

• No shrines/wells

• No mercs

• No prebuffing (cube inventory is ok)

• Max resist of any element is 85%

• Max absorb of any element is 20%

• Can't use any +max resist or +%absorb

• Life replenish is capped at 40

• No casting charges from items (unless agreed upon by both parties)

Gameplay Restrictions

• Avoiding contact with an opponent intentionally with no plans of attacking for prolonged periods of time is unacceptable, defensive play is part of dueling but lets not have 11 hour 1-0's like a few years ago.

• Casting of traps/missiles before both players say go

• Camping in houses

• Camping next to flavie (you may however use the corners of the pathway to Cold Plains

• There is no restrictions on in-game techniques

• No glitching (aura glitch, skill glitching, ww glitch, corpse glitch, blade fury, flame bellow, trang, etc)

• Any bugged items are banned, these include hybrid runewords

• Zeal sorcs aren't allowed

SvS Rules

Es Vs Vita Rules:
- Both may use mana potions, but es sorcs may not constantly run to wait for mana regen
- Es may use 1 sorb ring (wisp/dwarf/raven) OR up to +5% max resist (waterwalks, one vex, ohm, lo)

• Reason being is that Es has disadvantage vs vita - mana drainage when hit etc

- Vita cannot combine any %max with any sorb
- Vita may use 2 pieces of +5% max resist each = 10% (vex in helm + waterwalks is gm) OR up to 20% sorb

Es Vs Es Rules:
- May only use mana potions if and only if BOTH people agree its ok
- No Sorb or Max resist can be used







Resistance Rules:
- If your cold resist exceeds 400, you may not wear a raven frost
- You may not use absorb over 20%.
- You may only use one item of absorb.
- You may not obtain overall max resistance of over 85% (following type of sorc rules)
- You may only use one item to stack your resistances.
- You may use one item of absorb or max resistance in conjunction with one item used to stack your resistances

Resistances and Absorb Exceptions:
- Nightwing is not considered an absorb item.
- Tgods is considered a max resistance item, not an absorb item.
- Vs Cold Sorcs: If you use the allowed 1 stack item you may not use cold absorb or max resistances.


ES Mitigation Rules
Mitigation Limit = 100%
(Example1: a 80%es sorc uses ravens. This is 100%mitigation because ravens is 20%absorb)
(Example2: a 95%es sorc has a Lo rune in his vmagi This is 100% mitigation because lo is 5%max resist)
