Trouble Getting Started

I reinstalled Diablo 2 and did not update. Then I used the annihilus installer and that went fine. I installed the update from the launcher. But when i go to play it says "Run-time error '53': File not found". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling on a fresh install of Diablo 2 with the same issue.

Any Ideas?

running on which OS? If you try to run it under windows 10 you will have to tell your antivirus AND windows defender to not delete files from your diablo 2 folder.

I personally disable the goddamn windows defender completely because i havent found any options for it.

Windows defender and some antivirus programms detect annihilus launcher as a false positive trojanvirus. Its ofcourse not but it can download files by its own and change the registry of your computer and thatswhy the false positive alert.
