This is a fantastic idea, I think if Alex chose to add this, either the boss wouldn't have specific useful items, meaning he would only drop normal vanilla or anni vanilla items, or make the pits themselves harder and make the bosses drop something nice, kinda like LK!

Great idea, and perhaps some new mid-tier items could be added for these pit bosses, and have a bit higher chance to drop the items that people actually do pits to find.
