​Pvm Tournament: "Cruci Time"

Here is a very simple idea for a pvm tournament.
Let me know if you think this could worth a try.

Objective: Rush crucible as fast as possible
Time Ladder - 3/4 players per team

Time start as soon as the cruci scroll is identified.
Time's end when last cruci boss die.

We could keep the records in a "Pantheon of the Crucible Runners" list or some shit like that xD

Got some return that for some reasons of balance, this wont work.
Like fire sorceress are too strong for instance.
Maybe we can just refuse this build then?

The only way i'd say this would really work would be if Game could make some pre-made characters (say like every1 signs up and then Game makes an acct for each person with a geared necro for x build) and then each person hops in the necro and goes to solo the cruci.. Whom ever makes it the furthest wins.

I would really enjoy that, although it's a lot of background work I guess.

Got you, would be nice!
But what you suggest is different.
My point is not to solo cruci but to do it in team.
I was even imagining this at some point as some clan challenges.
And second point, even more important, its too do it with your own character!
Of course some guys are much stronger than others but that's how the game is anyway.
I'll be happy to know how fast some guys can clear cruci and with which characters they do that.
It will be a good way to meet us all, share ideas and builds, and observe good players strategies.
Of course we'll have some balance issue but if the event manager choose the team (maybe also the leader) and if some builds are not accepted, don't you think this could work, even if its not perfectly balanced?

With the cruci as it is, groups would probably make this a little to easy... People can 2 man cruci in 10-15min quite comfortably with honestly little tactic beyond "host avoids damage". 4 man groups just zerg through it the main hinderance being movement speed.

This is why I felt doing it solo posed a greater event as it's quite difficult to solo the entire thing and progressing through certain floors takes some knowledge/tactic while anything more than solo is really just running through the floors.

Utimately I like the idea of PvE events but would prefer something a bit more challenging. Maybe even fun little things like "clear red portals wearing only blues" could encite some interesting pve events.

Understood... That's thrue... My first idea was actually to clear an all game lol, but i was defently high when i got it. Now i'm defenelty drunks so..; this wont help.. But! Liked your blue gear idea! Even the soloing crucible! So anyway, hope some time some pvm events appeared Not that i dont like pvp events, just may be cool to diversify a bit the way to compete. balance is never going to be 100%. would still be fun to have a little competition!!!
