Going back to old D2

So i dont have any annilus files on the computer and even when i freshly install d2 lod, i try to go onto battlenet and annilus server is still an option, and it says it cannot verify the version. how do i get this to stop or i am i doomed to never play original LOD again?

I believe this has to do with your gateway, maybe try to find the gateway editor and click on the server you want to use?
