Item Exception when cursor moved across item?

Hey guys...so, i just found a physical ammy and when i go to move my cursor across it, it throws an exception and it closed diablo 2...

do you have an english client? I had this issue in the past when i played with my german client (didnt see the text of most things and had a lot of crashes when my curser moved over specific items)

i do have an english client...but ive been playing fine for about 2-3 weeks already. its just that specific item?

its a physical ammy, dunno which one though, didnt catch it.

i uninstalled Diablo 2 completely and reinstalled...still the same error.

Did you try and dye it?

I think i've seen something similar happen before, and I think that's what caused it.

Also it happens immediately after you put your cursor over the amulet or a few seconds after?

yeah that looks like a dye'd amulet :P

Or its a bugged amu, seeing how u got the normal skin :/, it should be another skin

The only way to fix this is, get a crap amu, hold it on cursor then swap it with the bugged amu and drop it in the floor ( Get Acyroma ingame with u so he can replace ur amulet )

i didnt dye the ammy...i literally just picked it up from dreamlands. i didnt even ID it.
