I would argue against full trang. Unfortunately it still has the same issue as it did on bnet, in that the thing it morphs you in to has a very slow casting animation. I would go with enigma or Odium.

Go to your game folder, open up "D2ex.ini"(use notepad, if you don't have it assigned as such already) and find "HideCrap" And change the 0 to a 1, the save and close it

As I said in my original post, it would be a 1 to 1 downgrade. You would only get one Cham for downgrading one Zod.
Enchant also gives a huge AR boost. Even on fire immunes it's worth it.
The only problem, I think, with making it a scroll is that it seems a bit imba to have a HR, then have to pay the cost of about half of a hr... to get a lesser hr. Downgrading weapons and armors...
yeah, that would work. rune + any health pot or something.
