give your amazon merc the rune words BRAND, DELIRIUM, and DURESS.
with strife she will turn all the monsters against each other. with brand she will keep the monsters off you and with duress it adds damage and recovery for her to move back in position.
simple and effective.

acid injector > since it turns monsters hp bars into butter.

we could tailor any item and any weapon for a merc all day long. it was not my point. i was showing a build that could be done by anyone because the rune words can be bought with gold but the acid injector can not
acid injector can be bought with gold though if you buy hr's and trade for ne, so your point is invalid. Sory to argue with you, but it seems like you're trying to tell people to waste money on a merc not as good as one you could spend less money to get.
