FPS Issues?

I join a game and have 500 fps, then it instantly drops to 33 and won't go above that.

I normally have 300+ fps on east, so it's odd that on D2PK its staying at 33. That's too low to play.

Anyone else have this issue/learn how to fix it?

nvidia control panel manage 3d settings find d2 exe that d2pk uses and force it off in the options there

This sounds like D2 is using Glide as the video render instead of Direct2D. Try running D2Vidtest.exe and select Direct2D / DirectDraw if you can.
