Resist Lightning aura on Elder of Tristram

So I was testing out the aura on my Elder of Tristram, maybe I'm missing something but it doesn't seem to be boosting my max lightning resist.

I have 84% max light resist now, so with level 6 resist light aura I should have 90% since it gives 1% per level.

My stacked resistence is well over 100 so it should stay at the maxed amount even with 6% higher max resist.

It says the skill has a "hidden" bonus max resist, however, it also says the increased maximum resist should be displayed on the character screen, which is where I'm looking and my maximum light resist is staying the same as well as for my Mercenary.

Ideas?

resist aura gives 1%max per 2 hard point.
