most players keep their valuable items on the players they dont play. So there are lots of characters are pratically act like a stash.

removing items from one char to another takes time.

There might be a account stash. Which accesable for all player on the account. So you can replace items from one character to another without logging in the same game with different chars of the same account.

I have posted almost the same post as this a month or so ago. The answer was the Dev's would like to but technical reasons are a barrier. At least we know that it may happen at some point if the issues that prevent it are removed. But I agree with every thing you have said. I just do not think it will happen, at least any time soon.
