    had to delete and copy a new folder

    but the server going down every 17 minutes doesnt help

    i have this file i can not delete in the d2 folder: IX86ver1.dll

    sometimes i have to create a new folder and start again to play (i get the message that it cant verify version) and i can get rid of this file everytime.

    As far as google tells me, its a security dll that checks for malicious actions

    Are you using Diablo II.exe and have no other third-party programs running while playing?

    The only error I sometimes get is about the Multi-Res and another that I'll troubleshoot as soon as it pops up again

    access violation c00000005 is another error that crashes game

    The dll file you mentioned is necessary in some diablo II applications that are modified or required for functionality. The c000000005 error is one you'll have to explain as to what is happening. Don't delete the 86dll
