    downgrading runes in cube

    Lets say i put a Um rune in the cube, it and transmute it, it becomes 2 pul, same with all other runes.
    Possible?

    The issue I see with this is: Zod = xGold and Cham = yGold, yGold != (xGold*2)

    Maybe you could do like, Rune = 1 of next lower rune, that way it can't really be exploited and it'd only be used when you REALLY need the next lower rune but can't find it.
