Can someone explain me end game..?

i was a hardcore d2 fan. i enjoyed endless baal run and meph run with enigma. i started this server recently and i need some advice on what to do. so far i have 90 sorceress and i discovered inferno. i cant solo..and beside static im kinda useless in party. I see some uber sorc doin it All with ease . What should i do or farm to reach this point? If you could name me some stuff i definitly need (merc-items-skill build) and some hints on how to get them, i would really appreciate. Thank you.. So far i enjoy the game and community (better then lol ).

Basically its light nova tal sorc with infinity merc. Put 9 light facets, torch, anni, 2soj or 2 wisp and you are done :P
