End game.exe using task manager, or restart your pc run the launcher, update patch = win

I just got on and then I wanted to check the full screen box on the launcher which doesn't work... so I restarted the game and now im getting this error and I don't run xp I run windows 7.... but this pc originally had xp when I first got it years ago if that would make a difference.
