C00005 error when i open misc settings

so whenever i open misc settings in game i always get the c00005 error so i cant change the game to windowed mode and i cant alter other settings. I think its because i am in fullscreen that i am getting this error. Fullscreen has always been like this for me with the c0005 code even when i use glide.

i "repaired" it by moving my complete Diablo 2 folder from "c:/" to "d:/". i dont know how or why this workes... but it workes. i just wanted to reinstall it and tried it just for fun

Go to your game folder, open up "D2ex.ini"(use notepad, if you don't have it assigned as such already) and find "HideCrap" And change the 0 to a 1, the save and close it

i got it thx alot for the help bro i had to run notepad as admin and import the file.
