As the first post says.. your stuff you have now will be non ladder, you will not lose it. Helps to read guys You don't even have to create a new account.

You can make other accounts in-game, but only 1 on forum.

Also keep in mind you can make more than 8 characters per account. You can use the arrow keys to scroll down on the character selection screen to the other ones you create.
