Just started an have no clue

Hello everyone!
My friend and i have just started playing on this server.
We both have played d2 lod for s while.
So i geuss we just need some tips and advice.
Also how do you transfer gold from the website to in game?

Any tips an advice would be greatly appreciated.

you link your account here to your account in game. play softcore first (later on you might get one shotted). alot of people here that reply to the forums will be happy to help! contact me in game as sine27 (im not on sine25 much atm). this is a great server if you find me ill get you started

You can change the account name any time you want in Settings -> My Profile

basically, you no longer get gold in game, you do not have to pay for merc resurrections, repairs, or health pots, but gamble will still cost you actual gold.
you get gold from daily voting and/or purchasing (although it is not a requirement to ever buy gold)

alot of higher end farming that is better than battle.net (imo) with inferno areas, worldstone event, tristram, dreamlands, inferno cows, culthulu, lich king along with the 85+ areas that was standard leveling fare in D2 (i might have missed a few areas).
